LEGAL / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
ReFilm respects and protects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use ReFilm's photo editing, film simulation, and related features. If an in-app permission notice or App Store privacy label differs from this page, refer to the disclosure for the version you use and contact us through the App Store listing.
1. Information We Handle
Photos you select
When you choose photos for editing, ReFilm needs the corresponding Photos permission to import, preview, edit, and export them. You can change the permitted photo selection in iOS Settings at any time.
Diagnostics and performance
To diagnose crashes, improve performance, and refine the experience, the app may handle crash, performance, and other diagnostic data. ReFilm's current App Store privacy label identifies this data as not linked to your identity and potentially used for analytics, product personalization, and app functionality.
Purchases
Apple processes subscriptions and in-app purchases. We may receive transaction results needed to confirm entitlement, but we do not receive your full payment-card details.
2. Device Permissions
ReFilm requests permissions only when needed for a feature, including access to read or save photos. Denying a permission does not affect unrelated features, but the corresponding import or export function may be unavailable.
3. Use and Disclosure
We use information only to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve ReFilm. We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only when necessary for Apple purchase services, diagnostics, legal compliance, or the protection of legitimate rights.
4. Retention and Security
Information is retained only as long as needed to provide features, resolve disputes, maintain security, or meet legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no software or internet environment can be guaranteed completely secure.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You may revoke Photos access in iOS Settings or uninstall the app. To exercise rights available under applicable law, such as access, correction, deletion, or restriction, contact the developer through the ReFilm App Store listing.
6. Children
Children should use ReFilm with guidance from a parent or guardian. If we learn that a child's personal information was handled without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict it.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as features and legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate channel. For privacy questions, contact developer Zhanghan Ke through the ReFilm App Store listing.
This draft is based on ReFilm's public features and current App Store privacy label. Before publication, the developer should complete a legal review against the app's actual SDKs, data flows, and service configuration.
